THOMAS GARZ
Thomas is a seasoned corporate finance professional with over 13 years of experience across the Caribbean, Central America, and Germany. He specializes in financial modeling, company valuation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate strategy, and business consulting.
His career in M&A and corporate finance began in 2007, supporting a German company actively growing through acquisitions across Europe. He later worked with Ernst & Young – Corporate Finance Beratung and IEG Investment Banking in Berlin, focusing primarily on buy-side projects.
In 2012, Thomas joined PwC in the Dominican Republic, where he rose to the position of Supervisor in the Corporate Finance Advisory unit. There, he led and supported a wide range of projects including financial modeling for valuations, M&A transactions, goodwill impairment tests, buy- and sell-side advisory, budgeting, and strategic corporate planning.
Over the past six years, Thomas has been working independently as a corporate finance consultant. His expertise spans financial and economic analysis, business valuations, feasibility studies, strategic investment evaluation, business planning, project finance, financial and statistical modeling, and M&A advisory.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Economics from Otto-von-Guericke-Universität, Magdeburg, Germany and a Master of Science in Corporate Finance from Complutense University of Madrid, Spain
